Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions are the rules of the room between Badazi and the reader on the other side of the screen. By spending time on badazi.com you accept them in full. If anything below does not work for you, please choose not to use the Site.

1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using Badazi (the “Site”), you confirm that you have read these Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) and that you accept them, together with our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer. If any of these documents does not work for you, please do not continue to use the Site.
Badazi is operated as a modern editorial publication for discovering influential ebooks and books with real cultural staying power. We may revise these Terms from time to time; the current version will always live at this URL.
2. Use of the Site
You agree to use Badazi only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms and with applicable law. In particular, you agree not to:
- Use the Site in any way that may damage, disable, overburden, or impair badazi.com, or interfere with another reader's use of it.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site, the underlying systems, or the networks they run on.
- Use any robot, spider, scraper, headless browser, or similar automated method to access the Site without our prior written consent.
- Use the Site to transmit any unlawful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable material.
- Reproduce, duplicate, copy, resell, or commercially exploit any part of the Site without our prior written permission.
3. Editorial content
Badazi publishes editorial work — reviews, distilled summaries, key takeaways, themed shelves, and recommendations. That work reflects the considered opinions of the Badazi editorial team. We invest serious effort in being accurate, but editorial content is offered for discovery and reading purposes only and should not be relied on as professional advice in any field.
Book metadata, star ratings, and external links can shift over time. Information about specific titles is offered in good faith and may not always reflect the very latest edition, translation, or publisher listing.
4. Intellectual property
All editorial material on Badazi — reviews, summaries, curated shelves, design elements, brand assets, and the "Badazi" name and logo — is the property of Badazi or of its licensors, and is protected by applicable intellectual property law.
Book titles, author names, and cover images shown on the Site belong to their respective rights holders and are used solely to identify the books we discuss editorially. Their appearance on Badazi does not imply any endorsement of Badazi by those rights holders.
You are welcome to share short quotations or direct links to Badazi pages for personal, non-commercial purposes, as long as you clearly attribute Badazi as the source. Any other reuse — including republication — requires our prior written consent.
5. No file hosting, no distribution
Badazi is a discovery and editorial publication. We do not host, sell, or share book files of any kind. When you click an external link on a book page, you leave Badazi and arrive at a third-party publisher, bookseller, library, or open archive that legitimately offers the book. Any decision to acquire, borrow, or read that book is governed by those third parties, not by Badazi.
6. Third-party links
Badazi book pages link to third-party services such as Google Books, Goodreads, Amazon, Project Gutenberg, and publisher pages. These links are offered for your convenience as a reader. Badazi has no control over those external sites' content, policies, or practices, and accepts no responsibility for them.
7. Advertising
Badazi may display advertising delivered by third-party advertising networks. The presence of an advertisement on Badazi is not an endorsement by us of the advertised product, service, or company. We are not responsible for the content of any third-party advertisement, nor for any communications or transactions you may choose to have with the advertisers behind them.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Badazi disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components, or that any content will be accurate, complete, or current at all times.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Badazi, its editors, contributors, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your access to or use of the Site.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Badazi and its editors and contributors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses — including reasonable legal fees — arising from or connected to your use of the Site, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by, and interpreted in accordance with, the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Badazi is operated, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in that jurisdiction.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new revision date at the top. Continuing to use the Site after such an update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
